Special Thanks

Hello, I'm Tsuneko, a Japanese blue cat who loves ‘free games’
I'd like to introduce and acknowledge the Special Thanks people here.

First of all, Bobo The Cat.

Bobo is a cat who makes games with his paws.
Bobo The Cat, based on himself, is an epic Marioid action game with over 20 hours of gameplay.
At first, the cat can't even jump, but it adventures through a vast world, solving puzzles and fighting bosses in various places as it goes along.
Carefully crafted from start to finish, this is a game that will leave a lasting impression on anyone who plays it to the end.
At least, I love this work very, very much!

And Bobo The Cat has a spin-off film.
First Cat on the Moon - starring Bobo The Cat by Bobo The Cat (itch.io)
It's a platformer about going to the moon, starting from the beginning with almost all the upgrades you've acquired after an amazingly long journey in the main game.
In this piece, there is a secret room, which is a replica of Tsuneko's pixelart and my room.
And the song that plays there is very sweet and beautifully sung by Bobo and his owner.
I couldn't write about it until now because I didn't want to spoil too much, but it's a difficult place to find on your own, so here's how to get there.
You can get there about 5-10 minutes after you start the game.
Or if you just want the song, you can listen to it in the unzipped First Cat on the Moon file, next to the executable file, song_tsuneko.ogg.

From the starting point, aim left and climb the building at the end.
Then aim left again.
At the end of the left wall, there is a place where Bobo can claw you, so press attack and go inside.

Then jump off-screen repeatedly.
This will take you into a hidden room.

Bobo gave me the best adventure memories and a special cat experience. thank you!

About Sylvie
I got to know Sylvie about two years ago.
She is an author who has been making games for over 10 years and has made over 100 games!
I played Sylvie's games every week as Sylvie Sunday and played almost all the games that are currently available!
And all of them were great fun! (However, some puzzle games were too difficult for me and I even asked others for advice).
Some of her work is just plain fun as a game, while others include anecdotes and stories based on her experience of making games.
As a ‘free game’ enthusiast, I was simply overwhelmed by Sylvie's work.
Incidentally, ‘free games’ is a term that existed before the term ‘indie games’ became major in Japan, and as the name suggests, refers to PC games that can be played for free.
For me, however, the main difference between indie games and free games is that indie games are more conscious of the masses and incorporate more popular game philosophies and game production techniques, whereas free games prioritise what the creators themselves want to create rather than what the general public wants.
I call them ‘free games’ because they are free from ties.
Sylvie's games are exactly the kind of ‘free games’ I am looking for.
Here is a list of some of her games that I particularly like

Funeral Song for the Elemental Lords
Clockwork Calamity in Mushroom World
Sylvie Lime
Soft Kitten Experience
Cute Jump

Of the above five, the first three are moderately difficult, with Soft Kitten Experience and Cute Jump being incredibly difficult.
So, for a first introduction to Sylvie's work, we recommend Her Little Sylvietower, Hot Summer Sylvie and cat planet!
Her Little Sylvietower is very high for normal play, but the difficulty can be eased by rewinding time.
Sylvietower was the first Sylvie game I played, and it was challenging enough to make full use of the time rewind controls!
Later, having been trained on other Sylvie Sundays, I got strong enough to complete Sylvietower without having to rewind time!
Hot Summer Sylvie is similarly challenging, but thanks to the SHOP system, even the uninitiated can play through to the end if they take their time.
cat planet is a low difficulty exploration platformer that allows you to explore Sylvie's world full of cats, and is highly recommended.

When I first came across Sylvie's work, I played games on Itch io only to play them and not to give feedback to the author.
I had a bit of low self-esteem, and I was afraid that if I wrote my impressions, people would think I was offensive, like ‘a weird blue cat from Japan is writing some kind of impressions haha’.
In the meantime, I liked Sylvie's work, and as I played many of her works, Sylvie found one of my videos and commented on it.
She saw my playing scenery and was pleased with my reaction to her enjoyable playing, which made me happy too.
From then on, I thought that maybe my play scenes were valuable to the authors, so I started to leave my impressions and a video of the streaming video I played in the comments.
She was also the one who inspired me to do so.
I'm also grateful to Elephantasy and Void Stranger, which I really enjoyed, because I might not have played them without her.
Thank you Sylvie!

One Voice and its authors PixelDrake and zzzablo
One Voice is a virtual idol named Aria, which you draw yourself on virtual paint software, and It is my particular favourite game.
She comes to life as a result of a file error, and you fight to complete her art and power her up while protecting her from enemies who want to erase her.
This can be played by using the mouse cursor to defeat enemies that come out from around you, or furthermore by using a pen tablet to trace and defeat enemies as if you were actually drawing on a canvas.
Playing with the mouse was fun, but when I played with the pen tablet I was very impressed and enthusiastic about the game.
The difficulty level was quite high and I managed to complete the game using the mitigation option at first, but repeated playthroughs also helped me improve.
My enjoyment of One Voice led me to help translate it into Japanese.
That's how One Voicev1.1 was born, with a Japanese translation as well as a new story, stages and gimmicks.
It's a lot of fun!
I wanted to write here to share this fun with others.
Thank you very much, nya~!

Finally, one more person, Ishii Ishi
She is a Japanese friend of mine, and the program for this game is a creation based on Ishi's Unity course.
Thanks!

And I am here with the support of many other people.
A special thank you also to you for seeing this Thank you, meow~! ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
